Create and maintain relationships with external partners, such as educational institutions and job training programs, to attract and recruit a diverse pool of talent. Oversee the training and development programs for current employees, ensuring they are aligned with company goals and objectives. Collaborate with department managers to identify current and future talent needs and develop strategies to address any skills gaps. Monitor and analyze workforce data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement. Develop and manage the budget for workforce development initiatives. Identify and implement best practices for employee engagement and retention. Stay updated on industry trends and developments in workforce development to continuously improve the company's strategy. Lead and mentor a team responsible for executing workforce development initiatives. Regularly communicate with senior leadership to provide updates on the progress and impact of workforce development initiatives. Develop and maintain training materials and resources for employees and managers. Evaluate the effectiveness of workforce development programs and make adjustments as needed. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to workforce development and training. Act as a brand ambassador for Tyson Foods, promoting the company as an employer of choice for top talent.
