We are looking for an experienced Amazon expert to help manage and optimize the backend operations of our Amazon business. This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands Amazon Seller Central, operational workflows, reporting, and profitability—and who can proactively manage inventory, promotions, and performance.

Must be comfortable working mostly US EST Hours.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Shipment Management

• Coordinate shipments from our 3PL to Amazon FBA

• Create and manage inbound shipments in Seller Central

• Upload and manage FBA shipment labels using ShipHero

• Monitor receiving, discrepancies, and follow up with Amazon as needed

Amazon Reporting & Analytics

• Pull, analyze, and interpret reports from Amazon Seller Central

• Provide insights on sales performance, inventory health, fees, and trends

• Help translate Amazon data into clear, actionable recommendations

Profitability & Financial Understanding

• Analyze product-level profitability, including Amazon fees, storage, shipping, and promotions

• Identify margin opportunities and flag cost issues

• Help us understand true contribution margin per SKU on Amazon

Promotions & Sales Optimization

• Set up and manage Amazon promotions (coupons, deals, price discounts, etc.)

• Monitor promotion performance and recommend optimizations

• Support sales-driving initiatives while maintaining profitability

Amazon SEO & Ranking (Organic Focus)

• Understand how organic ranking works on Amazon

• Identify opportunities to improve visibility and conversion

• Bonus (not required): familiarity with Amazon PPC and paid strategies

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing Amazon Seller Central for FBA brands

• Strong understanding of Amazon reporting and backend operations

• Hands-on experience with inventory shipments and 3PL coordination

• Experience using ShipHero (or similar warehouse/shipping software)

• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess profitability and performance

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

• Clear communicator who can explain Amazon complexity simply

Nice to Have (Bonus):

• Experience with Amazon paid advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, etc.)

• Experience scaling brands on Amazon

• Experience with health, wellness, food, or CPG brands
