About the Role

The Mobile Locker Co. is a fast growing company that supports some of the most exciting live events in the country—professional sports, major festivals, and global events. We are hiring an Area Operations Manager to lead event operations in the New York market.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, customer-facing environments and wants real ownership. You’ll manage people, schedules, inventory, and on-site execution for marquee events, primarily New York Mets games, city road races, and campus events at various local colleges.

If you’ve worked in stadiums, hospitality, retail, festivals, or large-scale events and are ready to step into a visible leadership role at a growing company—this is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the primary operational leader for major New York-based events, including all home New York Mets games and more
  • Lead event operations and manage and schedule teams of event staff
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for venue staff, clients, and customers
  • Ensure a high-quality guest experience in fast-moving, high-volume environments
  • Oversee inventory, equipment, and supply readiness before and after events
  • Troubleshoot issues in real time—staffing, customer service, logistics, and equipment
  • Uphold company standards for professionalism, safety, and operational excellence

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in event operations, hospitality, stadiums, festivals, retail management, or customer-facing operations
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage people in live environments
  • Calm, professional presence in high-energy, time-sensitive situations
  • Strong communication and customer service instincts
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and event-based schedules
  • Valid driver’s license and comfort driving company vehicles
  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented—with the ability to think on your feet
