Job Description

· Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

· Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.

· Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

· Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activities.

· Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time.

· Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

· Provide assistance in budgeting and forecasting processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Accountant (Senior) should have:



· A strong academic background in Accounting or Finance.

· Month-end reporting exposure; ability to prepare trial balance.

· Previous experience working across AP & AR.

· Prior experience in a smaller business is highly desirable.

· Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.

· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.

· The ability to work collaboratively within a collaborative team, partnering with designers & project managers.

· A proactive approach to solving financial challenges.
