<div><p><span>The Jimmy Fund Community Events & Partnerships team seeks a proactive, detail-oriented Assistant. This role is the administrative and operational hub for scheduling, purchasing, gift processing for managers, performance tracking, and meeting support—helping translate strategic priorities into executable plans and ensuring seamless coordination across events, partnerships, and strategic initiatives. This position reports to the AVP and Associate Director of the Jimmy Fund. <em>Internal Title: Assistant, Jimmy Fund</em> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span>This position is considered remote, 0-1 days onsite at 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA each week. We conduct groundbreaking research that advances treatment, we educate tomorrow's physician/researchers, and we work with amazing partners, including other Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals.</span></p><p><span>APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:  </span></p><p><span>Resume and cover letter required with application submission. </span></p></div><br><ul><li><span>Provide high-level administrative support to senior leaders, including comprehensive calendar management for the AVP; schedule and coordinate large scale and cross-functional meetings; prepare agendas and materials; take notes and track action items.</span></li><li><span>Coordinate the team’s mail duty schedule.</span></li><li><span>Oversee gift processing for direct managers, including GDTs, GARTs, matching gift/incoming gift alerts to Donor Services, and pledges; ensure timely, accurate handling in alignment with team policies. </span></li><li><span>Manage P-cards and expense reports for senior staff; ensure compliance, on-time submissions and reconciliation.</span></li><li><span>Support purchasing operations: open and track POs, manage general team ordering as applicable, and serve as the primary purchasing system contact for AVP and Associate Director; partner with the team coordinator to support broader purchasing needs.</span></li><li><span>Partner with the AVP to manage the team’s operating model, translating strategic priorities into actionable project plans, timelines, and deliverables; support annual and quarterly planning cycles.</span></li><li><span>Maintain performance tracking; monitor team goals and KPIs; operationalize tracking routines and reporting cadence.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with internal partners to submit accurate metrics and data for Jimmy Fund reporting.</span></li><li><span>Handle additional administrative duties as needed, including CV entries, mailings, and event project support.</span></li></ul><br><div><p><span>High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
