In this high-impact role, you’ll partner closely with our sales team to influence Albertson’s through strategic category management, shopper behavior analysis, and compelling data-driven storytelling. You’ll leverage macro trends, proprietary research, and industry insights to shape category strategies that win with both the retailer and the shopper. If you're passionate about turning data into action and making a measurable impact, this is your opportunity to shine.</p><p></p><p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES </b></p><ul><li><p>Provides category & retailer specific solutions and recommendations based on key learnings and insights generated through analysis and research from a broad range of sources</p></li><li><p>Completes retailer category reviews utilizing category analysis, shopper insights and analytic tools</p></li><li><p>Analyzes data from sources such as syndicated scan and panel data, loyalty card data, retailer point-of-sale data, and space planning software</p></li><li><p>Completes category analyses on assortment, retail pricing, and trade promotions</p></li><li><p>Supports and guides Kroger in their go-to-market strategies that incorporate shopper insights and market trends</p></li><li><p>Works with the internal Shopper Insights & Center of Excellence teams, Category Managers, and Albertsons category managers to develop category learning plans</p></li><li><p>Supports and provides recommendations to the Sales Team on the category landscape and how that affects SCJ products and position</p></li><li><p>Turns category and shopper insights into actionable recommendations via Storytelling</p></li><li><p>Utilizes category and aisle expertise to provide shelf merchandising and item placement</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING</b></p><ul><li><p>Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment</p></li><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years relevant experience OR advanced degree and 3+ years relevant experience</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS</b></p><ul><li><p>Full knowledge and understanding of the category management process</p></li><li><p>Ability to develop fact-based business plans and to provide strategic input</p></li><li><p>Ability to develop, deliver and execute an objective fact-based presentation through storytelling</p></li><li><p>Skilled in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)</p></li><li><p>Complete understanding of syndicated scan and panel data</p></li><li><p>Complete understanding and familiarity of retailer point of sale data</p></li><li><p>Ability to develop internal and external relationships</p></li><li><p>Willingness to travel to meet customer and business needs</p></li><li><p>Capability to discover new tools and learn quickly how to use them with customers</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i>Leadership Skills</i></p><ul><li><p>Strong presentation skills</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required for building internal and external relationships and working on a high-performance team</p></li><li><p>Ability to bring a story out of large amounts of data that is impactful to the retailer</p></li><li><p>Proactive and committed to delivering results in a fast paced, demanding work environment by fostering a sense of urgency, energy, ownership, and a curiosity to search for opportunities</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS</b></p><ul><li><p>Full-time remote, field-based role</p></li><li><p>Travel up to 25%, mostly internal sales meetings</p></li><li><p>May require relocation for future opportunities</p></li><li><p>This role is not eligible for relocation assistance</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>BENEFITS AND PERKS</b></p><p>SC Johnson’s total compensation packages are at or above industry levels.
