This role will lead an account management team, partner directly with provider executive leadership, and ensure the delivery of measurable value through Vizient’s spend management offering.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><p><b>Provider Partnership, Executive Engagement & Value Delivery</b></p><ul><li><p>Serve as a trusted executive advisor to provider leadership (CEO, COO, CFO, CSO), fostering strong, long-term relationships that support sustained growth and performance.</p></li><li><p>Deepen executive engagement across health systems and supplier partners to align strategic priorities and strengthen enterprise partnerships.</p></li><li><p>Identify evolving business needs related to improving operational and financial performance and translate those needs into actionable strategies and solutions.</p></li><li><p>Provide executive oversight to ensure the account management team is consistently delivering measurable client value.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Operational Transformation & Cross-Enterprise Coordination</b></p><ul><li><p>Own and lead operational transformation efforts within the non-acute business to improve performance, scalability, and long-term sustainability.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate cross-functionally across Vizient teams to align solutions, delivery resources, and execution in support of provider outcomes and business priorities.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Sales Leadership, Growth & Team Enablement</b></p><ul><li><p>Maintain ownership of regional sales performance, including pipeline development, forecasting, renewals, and new growth opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Lead executive-level sales engagements, negotiations, renewals, and custom solution discussions.</p></li><li><p>Enable and equip account management teams to effectively position Vizient solutions, articulate value, and advance complex sales opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Oversee the RFP process, ensuring solutions meet provider needs while achieving business and financial objectives.</p></li><li><p>Identify and execute opportunities to expand Vizient solutions, services, and category management value across accounts.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Financial & Performance Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Own annual revenue and budget targets, ensuring plans are in place to support sustained growth and performance.</p></li><li><p>Monitor financial performance, including revenue, margins, and profitability of custom engagements.</p></li><li><p>Leverage analytics and business intelligence to inform decisions, track progress, and deliver on value commitments.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Team Leadership & One Vizient Experience</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead, coach, and develop high-performing account management teams focused on accountability, execution, and customer impact.</p></li><li><p>Foster a culture of collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.</p></li><li><p>Ensure consistent standards and a seamless One Vizient experience across all provider interactions.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree desired; advanced degree preferred.</p></li><li><p>10 or more years of progressive experience required in healthcare account management, sales leadership, consulting, or related fields.</p></li><li><p>Proven success managing executive-level relationships and driving revenue growth in complex, matrixed organizations.</p></li><li><p>Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, revenue targets, and profitability.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.</p></li><li><p>Candidates must reside in the Northeast or Southeast regions of the United States.</p></li><li><p><span>Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables. </span> Estimated travel is up to 70%.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Estimated Hiring Range:</b></u></p>At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
