Bilingual Phlebotomist – Early Morning Shift

Location: Riverhead, NY
Schedule: Early morning shift, 6:00 AM – early afternoon (Sunday availability required)
Compensation: $18 – $24 per hour (based on experience)

A busy healthcare facility in Riverhead, NY is seeking a reliable and experienced Phlebotomist / Lab Technician–Level candidate to join its clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who prefers early morning hours and is available to work Sundays.

Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients

  • Demonstrate strong lab knowledge, including proper tube selection for each type of test

  • Properly label, handle, and process specimens accurately

  • Prepare specimens for transport or in-house testing

  • Maintain a clean and organized lab and draw area

  • Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines

  • Provide professional and compassionate patient care

Requirements
  • Phlebotomy experience required

  • Strong lab knowledge required (must understand which tubes are needed for specific tests)

  • Phlebotomy certification preferred

  • Spanish speaking required

  • Strong attention to detail and patient interaction skills

  • Ability to work early morning shifts

  • Must be available to work Sundays
