Responsibilities:

  • Presents investment and retirement meetings that are designed to influence and motivate retirement plan participants.
  • Delivers professional consultations focused on participants' needs and increasing Vanguard assets through interactions with plan sponsors and participants.
  • Maximizes ongoing relationships by assessing client's needs through strategic planning and consultation with relationship managers and plan sponsors.
  • Appropriately positions Vanguard services in participant interactions using an enhanced guidance approach and Vanguard investment methodologies. Exhibits broad knowledge of Vanguard’s Retail solutions when addressing client needs.
  • Leverages participant feedback to make recommendations for future meeting content or to identify broader service and educational opportunities.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve existing client service models to strengthen and maintain client relationships.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, and services.
  • Understands the overall Financial Services industry and related legal, tax, and regulatory issues to guide clients.
  • Analyzes department and industry changes and their impact on client service operations.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, or client-facing participant education role.
  • Strong presentation and consultation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging virtual retirement education and provide needs‑based guidance.
  • Working knowledge of retail investment products and retirement plan services, with the ability to quickly learn new products, services, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility through institutional knowledge, effective communication, and collaboration with internal partners and plan sponsors.
  • This job requires regulatory licenses and/or registration (e.g. FINRA). Licenses needed: Series 7 or 6 (7 preferred) and Series 63.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, as business needs require.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.
