<h2> </h2> <p>Weston & Sampson is seeking motivated Civil CAD designers utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to support highly skilled engineering and design of infrastructure projects. This position is open to any Weston & Sampson office location or remote. You will prepare site civil, land development, structural, stormwater, and utility design plan sheets while working with a multidisciplinary team. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. </p> <h2> </h2> <p> </p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support site civil, land development, structural, stormwater, utility designs for infrastructure projects.</li> <li>Expertise in the latest version of AutoCAD Civil 3D</li> <li>Experience in developing plan sets that includes multi-disciplinary engineering plans </li> <li>Experience in grading for site design and dam rehabilitation projects </li> <li>Preparing alignments, cross sections and profiles </li> <li>Familiarity with survey data and ability to support development of topographic and boundary survey base plans</li> <li>Creating surfaces from survey point data</li> <li>Developing construction details </li> <li>Work collaboratively with engineers and project managers on a fast-paced schedule to produce quality work and meet deadlines.  </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Associates or Technical Degree in Computer Aided Drafting/Design, or similar field</li> <li>5+ years of experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D to design and prepare construction drawings, Civil 3D Surfaces, Alignments, Profiles, and Cross Sections and Grading Objects.</li> <li>Flexibility to perform design, drafting and recognize the importance of meeting stringent deadlines in an often fast-paced environment</li> <li>Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to effectively plan & manage time commitments on multiple concurrent projects</li> <li>Strong understanding of CAD standards, features and annotation styles, line styles, and drawing setup</li> <li>Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as being self-directed and managing projects independently.</li> <li>Experience processing survey data</li> <li>Experience processing lidar scan data and point clouds</li> <li>Bluebeam</li> <li>Survey experience/knowledge a plus</li> </ul> <p>Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000k</p> <h2>Overview</h2> <p>Weston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 1,000 professionals, who work together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
