<div></div><div><div><div><div><p>The Loan Syndications Associate will be responsible for providing analytical and execution support to deliver customized debt solutions to Citi’s Commercial Bank clients. The Loan Syndications Associate is a critical member of a deal team, working directly with Vice Presidents and Senior Transactors as well as with colleagues across multiple groups in the bank to originate and execute transactions.<br /><br /><b><u>Responsibilities:</u></b></p><ul><li>Support deal origination by drafting pitch materials incorporating an analysis of capital structure, credit profile, publicly available data on companies and transactions, and industry research.</li><li>Prepare market comparables, initial due diligence lists, deal pre-screen presentations, and draft indicative term sheets.</li><li>Tracking and summarizing loan market conditions in client materials, with a focus on the Middle Market segment of the US Loan Market.</li><li>Execute lead-arranged transactions by preparing organization books, drafting marketing materials (Confidential Information Memorandums, lender presentations, and pre-screening memorandums), organizing and managing bank meetings, participating in and tracking lender interaction and diligence, and managing the deal closing process.</li><li>Support the review of financing documents, including commitment letters, fee letters, engagement letters, and credit agreements.</li><li>Coordinate with other groups within Citi, including Coverage, Underwriting, Risk, and Operations as well as other product groups to meet pitch and deal-related deliverables and deadlines.</li><li>Developing and maintaining effective industry relationships with legal counsel, external parties, clients (in collaboration with senior coverage officers).</li><li>Developing and maintaining effective industry relationships with clients, lenders, legal counsel, and external parties (in collaboration with VPs and Senior Transactors).</li><li>Develop business and credit judgment as well as to provide balanced assessments in working with internal team members and partners.</li><li>Maintain a strong attention to detail, deliver high quality work product, and complete work in assigned timeframes.</li></ul><p><br /><b><u>Qualifications:</u></b></p><ul><li>2-3 years of banking experience, preferably with loan syndication, asset-based finance, or capital markets experience</li><li>Completion of formal credit training program preferred</li><li>Fundamental credit skills, including demonstrated ability to evaluate business, industry, financial performance, and structure/terms</li><li>Strong financial and analytic skills, including proficiency with financial modeling and ability to rapidly assimilate complex information</li><li>Excellent command of Microsoft Suite, with an emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel</li><li>High level of energy, enthusiasm, and motivation</li><li>Team player, able to facilitate strong partnerships</li><li>Detail-oriented individual with strong organization ability and excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills</li><li>Obtain and maintain required FINRA registration and licensing</li></ul><p><br /><b><u>Education:</u></b></p><ul><li>Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience</li></ul><p></p><p><br />This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
