Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
  • Collect and dispose of waste responsibly
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues promptly
  • Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable throughout the shift
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
  • Occasionally assist with minor maintenance or organisation tasks as required

Skills

  • Ability to operate a vehicle is preferred but not essential; driving licence advantageous for travel between sites
  • Good command of English for clear communication with colleagues and clients
  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients and visitors
  • Strong communication skills to effectively report issues or concerns to management
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Reliable with a keen eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met
