Based out the Southeast US area, this outside Business Development position, responsible for developing and maintaining Commercial Account business relationships that generate Commercial Account sales of work boots, work wear, related apparel, PPE and accessories to private business, Corporations and government entities and their employees in the east coast markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing commercial / business accounts to promote and sell work boots, work wear, related apparel, PPE and accessories to business and government entities and their employees within the territory.
  • Develops and executes sales/growth plan to meet performance expectations and requirements.
  • Identifies key Commercial/Industrial accounts – creates a strategy and business plan for acquiring new commercial accounts, utilizing store resources, trade shows, internet, and other media and marketing tools.
  • Develops and present sales presentations that create a value proposition of the Boot Barn Commercial Account program offering.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and identify a business prospect's needs.
  • Provide value solutions based on Boot Barn's Commercial Account business direction and strategies.
  • Build trust and support with new and existing Commercial Account customers to help enhance long-term sales and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with store Teams to help ensure continued growth of store Commercial Account business.
  • Enable store teams in understanding of Commercial Account directives and continued training and development of store teams.
  • Attend local and national safety conferences.
  • Work with local stores to facilitate and execute local Commercial Account customer events, and/or including fittings and Special Western Events.
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success as a sales person.
  • Reasonable technical knowledge of safety work boots, safety apparel, PPE and their application in industrial environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills).
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong analytical aptitude.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to drive a vehicle and travel to surrounding areas.
  • Position requires strong customer service skills, advance problem-solving abilities, ability to work well with others, and be a strong team player.
