About the position

We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Social Commerce Marketing Intern to join our team in The Clorox Company's CXT (Consumer Experience Transformation) department for a six-month internship. This role will focus on TikTok Shop and Meta Shops (Facebook & Instagram) for multiple CLX brands, supporting our efforts to drive sales, optimize product listings, and leverage platform tools to enhance consumer engagement. If you're passionate about eCommerce, social media, and digital marketing, this is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing space.

Responsibilities

  • Track sales performance across TikTok Shop and Meta Shops, identifying trends and opportunities to improve conversion rates.
  • Optimize PDP setups, including imagery, descriptions, and SEO to improve discoverability and purchase rates.
  • Support the development and execution of promotional offers, discounts, and product bundles to drive engagement and sales.
  • Assist in managing affiliate and creator programs with our agency of record to drive sales and content on TikTok Shop and Meta Shops, identifying high-performing partners and optimizing outreach strategies.
  • Utilize TikTok Shop's CRM tools to engage with potential customers, answer inquiries, and drive conversions via direct messages and community engagement.
  • Stay updated on the latest features and tools from TikTok Shop and Meta Shops, testing and implementing strategies to maximize results.
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify emerging best practices in social commerce.
  • Work with marketing, sales, eCommerce, and creative teams to align on messaging, promotions, and visual assets.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field with an expected graduation date of December 2025 - June 2026.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) and their eCommerce capabilities.
  • Passion for social commerce and digital marketing, with a keen interest in how consumers shop through social platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • GPA Required 3.0 or higher.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with TikTok Shop, Meta Shops, or eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, etc.) is a plus but not required.
  • Optional: Feel free to link your social media channels or portfolio of work in your resume.
