We are seeking qualified contractors to support in a role as a Customer Service Associate, leveraging call center experience, customer service skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail to deliver a positive customer experience. This opportunity is open to individuals located in Ohio, Pennsylvania or West Virginia and the surrounding areas. The right candidate will enjoy building relationships with customers, adapt quickly to change, and demonstrate grit that will inspire others to strive for superior results

Work remotely Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. EST. During storms a rotational requirement for after-hours coverage and opportunities for overtime coverage as needed to support storm-related issues.

Contractors will be engaged and paid by a third-party payroll supplier BCforward, which will serve as the employer of record for tax and compliance purposes.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Handle customer inquiries about Utilities through phone calls, chats, and emails
  • Document interactions
  • Assist with all customer issues

  • Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ensure reliable internet access

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Customer Service – minimum 2 years
  • 1-year of call center environment experience
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6-months of Utilities Company experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with computers: Experience using the internet, email via Outlook, MS Teams etc.

Compensation Disclosure

Compensation for contractor roles supporting Accenture is determined by the contractor’s employer BCforward, and varies depending on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience.

Compensation Range: $19.00 - $20.50
