About the position

Dow Jones is looking for a Quality Analyst to join our Due Diligence team responsible for the creation of high-quality reports on companies and/or individuals using a combination of publicly-available sources and proprietary databases. As a Quality Analyst, you will review, proofread and edit bespoke reports to ensure they meet the client's specifications. You will collaborate with the Due Diligence Research Editors, who research and write high-quality reports, and the Managers, who ensure the quality of output and delivery to clients, as well as Sales and research colleagues through Data Strategy. You will report to the Manager, Due Diligence Quality.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Due Diligence reports meet client requirements in terms of content quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness
  • Review and verify complex information from another language into English
  • Validate information from multiple sources and ensure it is clear and concise
  • Identify, communicate, and correct deviations of quality standards
  • Communicate with clients effectively, addressing their questions and concerns
  • Contribute to the creation, maintenance and testing of guidelines, data and tools that will support the team
  • Perform testing of new or enhanced system and product functionality
  • Support training of future members of staff
  • Contribute to both team and product-initiated projects
  • Support R&C with translation services as and when required

Requirements

  • Excellent English writing skills
  • Knowledge of and interest in international affairs and politics
  • Strong research skills, including online search tools
  • An openness to different views and opinions and an appreciation for team diversity

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in the field of Due Diligence
  • Fluency in at least one of the following: Portuguese, French, German, Hebrew, Dutch, Nordic languages, Russian, Arabic
  • Specialist legal, business or financial knowledge
