About the position

The Corporate Communications Intern is a key member of the communications and Public Relations team responsible for the Dallas Cowboys Football Club, AT&T Stadium, The Star in Frisco/Ford Center, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC), as well as other associated events and business endeavors as related to the Jones Family of companies. Job Duties: In conjunction with the full communications team, assist with preparation and execution of the department’s media, communications and PR elements in the areas of business, community, merchandise, marketing, sales, DCC, concerts and special events. Assist with vetting and facilitating media inquiries and interview requests. Help plan and execute press conferences and media events for the Dallas Cowboys Football Club, AT&T Stadium, The Star in Frisco / Ford Center, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and other corporate initiatives. Support Corporate Communications Manager for all events and associated media and communications elements at AT&T Stadium, The Star in Frisco/Ford Center, and select other special events, such as the Grand Prix of Arlington and the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Track media coverage and associated metrics and develop reports and summaries for events and campaigns. Support interdepartmental corporate communications requests and needs. Perform other functions and activities as assigned.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications, a related field or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
  • Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and In-Design.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects.
  • Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary.
  • Able to work flexible hours.
  • Candidate must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Candidates are encouraged to provide 1-2 relevant writing samples that demonstrate strong communication and storytelling skills (e.g., class assignments, articles, social media copy or press materials).
