Transactional Attorney Full Time Dallas, Texas

Experience/ Qualifications:

  • Must have an active law license in Texas, in good standing.
  • Being barred in states other than Texas is a plus
  • 2-5 years of corporate transactional attorney experience.
  • Independent, self-starting, and self-motivated
  • Superior written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment are a must
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and balance multiple tasks while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically
  • Confident and skilled in being the lead attorney on a complex transaction
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions or challenges both in writing
  • and in person

Duties

  • Drafting complex contracts, legal due diligence, managing closing process, negotiating with counterparties. Must be able to solve problems with grace and determination.
  • Effectively communicate using legal software and Microsoft Office products. Deal Team interaction.
  • Have excellent client care skills.
  • Collaborate with clients and other professionals to offer guidance and efficient solutions
  • Communicate with clients and counterpart attorneys.
  • Work with firm attorneys as a team
