Come and join us!</p><p></p><p><b>The Opportunity</b></p><p>Reporting to the Head of Editorial based in New York City, this role leads video editorial activity for North America, directly supporting our core business objectives: growing an engaged audience of food and travel lovers, driving hotel bookings, and delivering value to our partners through impactful storytelling.</p><p>Based in New York City, this role plays an integral part in adapting the Michelin Guide global strategy to the Americas.The Editorial team helps design and deliver effective content for our target audiences across Canada, USA, and Mexico. In addition, we are pivotal in developing branded content and sponsored stories for our B2B and B2A partners through support of the regional sales and marketing teams. </p><p></p><p><b>What you will do:</b></p><p>Manage regional editorial and sponsored content projects, across all media – commissioning and briefing of staff/external contributors as appropriate.</p><p>Manage end-to-end processes of video production, from pre-production to filming, transcribing, translation and subtitling, video editing, visual effects, color grading and sound mixing to deliver effective multi-platform content.</p><p>Coordinate and create social media assets, and work closely with the central social media team.</p><p>Contribute to global creative and video guidelines – tone of voice, branding – and enforce them in the region.</p><p>Contribute to launching and evolving video series/concepts.</p><p>Create and maintain a network of external contributors and production companies in all key territories within the region.</p><p>Maintain digital asset files and video archives to be easily accessed by other internal departments.</p><p>Establish and manage budget and production calendar, optimize resource allocation by selecting the right production model.</p><p>Assist and support video production requests from other Michelin hubs around the world when needed.</p><p><u>Overall job objectives: </u></p><ul><li>Ensure a high standard of creative and production values for all MICHELIN Guide video and graphic materials in the region and ensure consistency whatever the production process: in-house or outsourced.</li><li>Ensure that all creative output is derived through conceptual thinking based on a deep understanding of brand and marketing principles and agreed objectives.</li><li>Optimize production: resource allocation, cost efficiency and delivery timeline.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you will bring: </b></p><p>6+ years of proven experience video editing and producing</p><p>Lifestyle video production expertise in multiple formats</p><p>Strong understanding of digital content channels and their formats (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)</p><p>Project & budget management skills</p><p>Creative and collaborative approach; supportive teammate</p><p>Interest in food and travel</p><p>Starting pay range of $95k-$105k</p><p><u>Specific skills required: </u></p><ul><li>Video commissioning & editing; Script writing; Creating social media and influencer content; On-camera interviewing & shooting; Still image and multimedia design</li></ul><p></p><p><span>#LI-hiringmichelin</span></p><p></p><p><b>Ready to Shape the Future of Innovation?</b></p><p></p><p>Michelin is building a world-leading manufacturer of life-changing composites and experiences.
