Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. </p><div><p>1. In connection with market making, Truist is typically required to maintain an inventory of positions (both long and short), and to establish positions to facilitate liquidity on behalf of our clients. <br />2. Responsible for managing individual credit trading book with multiple sectors including but not limited to risk management, trade execution, trade analysis, sector analysis, idea generation, and hedging.<br />3. Accountable for P&L generation and maintaining market share in assigned sectors <br />4. Active communication and dialog with Credit Research team to define views and trading strategy within the respective industries covered.<br />5. Independently analyze and evaluate credit market and security specific opportunities.<br />6. Develop and maintain client relationships across the Credit account base. <br />7. Work closely with Debt Capital Markets and coverage banking teams to successfully originate and distribute Truist Left Lead deals. </p><p></p><p>Level-specific duties:</p></div><p>1. Plays an integral role working directly with Senior traders and research analysts to support the trading desk while managing an individual trading book.<br />2. Duties include but are not limited to: security valuation, financial modeling, statistical analysis, research, programing (Python) and presentation development.<br />3. Acitvely support and back up individual members of the trading desk while out of the office<br />4. Manages own trading book independently.<br />5. Responsible for client relationship development and expected to attend client meetings while representing the trading desk.<br />6. In-depth knowledge of the Credit market and demonstrates ability to independently manage risk (position management/hedging/pair trades/risk assessment).<br />7. Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills<br />8. Builds cross-functional relationships within the investment bank and leverages these relationships to aid in communication and desk/firm improvements.<br />9. Assists in training, mentoring, and directing the work of Jr Associates/Analysts and directly responsible for their work</p><p></p><p><b><span>Required Qualifications:</span></b></p><p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
