Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate I, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business success. Your typical day will involve:

  • Handling 40-50 inbound and outbound calls daily, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting customers with payment options, escrow items, and general mortgage information, providing personalized support and guidance
  • Promoting Mr. Cooper's customer benefits, such as Paperless, Mobile App, Web, and IVR, to enhance the customer experience and drive adoption
  • Working with customers who are 30 days or less due on their mortgage payment, providing proactive support and solutions to help them stay on track

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and resolving customer issues
  • At least 6 months of call center experience, with a strong understanding of call center operations and metrics

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience working in the mortgage industry or a related field
  • Knowledge of customer service software and technology, such as dialer systems and CRM platforms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
