The Business Development team is responsible for leading these partnerships, working closely with colleagues across Netflix to deliver efficient and impactful outcomes for Netflix and our partners. As we continue to grow across Latin America, we are seeking to hire a Director of Business Development to lead and strengthen our partnerships in South LATAM, including Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Peru , and neighboring markets. The idóneo candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the regional ecosystem, including ISPs, mobile operators, Pay TV providers, and other emerging platforms or services that can drive growth. They will bring strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and deep relationships to the role. We are seeking a seasoned business development professional with 10+ years of experience who is passionate about entertainment and has a proven track record of building high-value, long-lasting regional partnerships. This role will report to the VP of Partnerships and Business Development for LATAM and will be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina . Key Responsibilities - Lead and grow partnerships with ISPs, Pay TV operators, and mobile carriers across the aforementioned markets in the Southern Cone—identifying new opportunities and deepening existing relationships. - Own the full lifecycle of partnership development : analyze opportunities, lead negotiations, structure deals, and make commercial decisions in close collaboration with internal experts. - Develop and communicate partnership strategy , enabling cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Network Operations) to align and prioritize efforts that maximize growth and efficiency. - Act as a key strategic voice internally , participating in high-level discussions and providing market insights that shape Netflix's regional approach to partner-led growth. - Drive scalable initiatives that enable customers to sign up for and enjoy Netflix through bundles, integrated billing, optimized UX, and other partner-led experiences. - Explore and evaluate new types of partners that can unlock incremental distribution or engagement across South LATAM. - Collaborate globally and locally , ensuring alignment with Netflix's global BD, Product, and Marketing teams while tailoring execution to local realities. - Represent Netflix with senior partners and external stakeholders , serving as the lead relationship owner in the region. The Ideal Candidate - Strong fit with the Netflix culture (freedom and responsibility, context over control, high performance). - 10+ years of experience in business development or partnerships roles, ideally in telecommunications, internet services, digital platforms, or media/entertainment . - Demonstrated success in owning and leading end-to-end partnership development —from opportunity sizing to negotiation, execution, and long-term growth. - Proven ability to navigate and influence senior-level relationships , both externally with partners and internally across functions. - Deep understanding of the South LATAM ecosystem , including consumer behavior, regional dynamics, and partnership models. - Skilled at synthesizing input across cross-functional teams (product, marketing, legal, finance, technical) to align on shared goals and execute with impact. - Strategic thinker with a high level of autonomy, prioritization, and decision-making judgment . - Effective communicator in Spanish and English , with the ability to flex across diverse audiences and cultural contexts. - Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international environment , with flexibility to travel across the region and the US as needed.
