Together, we co-create moments that matter – both for our audiences and our employees – and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.<br /> OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES<br /> The Director, FP&A on Nickelodeon's Finance team will play a key leadership role in shaping Nickelodeon's content investment strategy across linear, streaming, and digital platforms. This position will own and oversee the financial planning and modeling, as well as strategic evaluation of Kids & Family content initiatives across the Nickelodeon Animation portfolio.<br /> This leader will partner closely with Finance, Production, Programming, Strategy, and Executive Leadership to drive financial decision-making that balances creative goals with fiscal discipline. The Director will also manage and develop FP&A team members, establishing operational excellence, consistent model structures, and scalable planning processes.<br /> <br /> Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:<br /> Forecasting, Budgeting & Monthly Performance<br /> • Oversee annual budget, monthly pacing, and quarterly forecasting cycles for Original Programming and Non-Amortized Programming spend.<br /> • Support consolidation of full Nickelodeon Animation Studios financial activity<br /> • Review and evaluate final amortization curves, useful life assumptions, and shifts in content deployment strategies.<br /> • Lead quarterly review of production costs, and work closely with production finance to track changes, and communicate the impact to amortization planning<br /> • Partner with Sr. Director to gather updates to the LRP (EFC updates, series green lights, long range planning of episodes and slots, scheduling shifts). Ensure updates are reflected in forecast and reporting.<br /> • Provide clear explanations of variances, risks, and opportunities to executive team.<br /> Strategic Planning & Investment Evaluation<br /> • Assist in the greenlight process for new series, films, specials, and content initiatives<br /> • Translate creative vision and programming strategy into financial outcomes, ensuring investment decisions align to brand and growth objectives.<br /> • Own long-range content investment planning and multi-year financial outlooks.<br /> Operational Finance Leadership<br /> • Approve project set-ups and asset/liability accounting for Original Programming and Non-Amortized Programming in partnership with Controller's Group.<br /> • Ensure balance sheet accuracy and oversee quarterly programming asset and liability schedule reviews.<br /> • Establish consistent model standards, templates, and workflow improvements across the FP&A team.<br /> • Build and maintain planning and forecasting for SG&A expenses in Programming HQ cost centers for the annual budget and monthly forecasts.<br /> • Support Nick Studio FP&A team, as necessary, to successfully implement/enhance upcoming financial system integrations across Paramount.<br /> Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership<br /> • Manage, mentor, and develop FP&A Manager; foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.<br /> • Partner with Content, Production Finance, Programming Strategy, Corporate FP&A, and Senior Leadership to support strategic and operational decision-making.<br /> • Prepare executive materials for senior reviews, strategy sessions, and greenlight discussions.<br /> BASIC QUALIFICATIONS<br /> • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus).<br /> • 10+ years of Finance/FP&A experience with strong P&L/Balance Sheet/Forecast skills, preferably within media and entertainment.<br /> • Advanced Excel/financial modeling skills (able to build and optimize models from scratch).<br /> • Experience with financial systems (e.g. ERP platforms, Longview, etc.).<br /> ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS<br /> • Strong understanding of content amortization and programming investment cycles a plus.<br /> • Familiarity with greenlight frameworks and production budgeting workflows.<br /> • Consolidation experience preferred; strategy experience nice to have.<br /> • Clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize complex data into executive-ready insights.<br /> • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.<br /> • Proactive self-starter and phenomenal teammate, ability to learn quickly, be flexible and adapt to changing industry and organizational landscape.<br /> • Challenges the status quo and brings up new ideas.<br /> #LI-SJ2<br /> Paramount Skydance Corporation (NASDAQ: PSKY) is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates premium content and experiences for audiences worldwide. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
