<div><p><span>The Director, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Fundraising, works collaboratively as a member of the Division of Philanthropy to assist the Assistant Vice President of Peer-to-Peer Fundraising with coordination of strategy and operations of Dana-Farber & the Jimmy Fund’s largest, signature, P2P events. This includes the annual Jimmy Fund Walk, the nation’s largest single-day walk along the famed Boston Marathon® course, and Dana-Farber’s team of 500+ runners in the annual Boston Marathon®.  Additional P2P events include the Boston Half, the Falmouth Road Race, and growing involvement with marathons both nationally and internationally. These programs raise on average $20M annually and this position is responsible for the logistics and operations for these events. We conduct groundbreaking research that advances treatment, we educate tomorrow's physician/researchers, and we work with amazing partners, including other Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals.</span></p></div><br><ul><li><span>Lead the P2P operations team which includes, but is not limited to, the following for all events: event logistics, data analysis, budgeting, revenue forecasting, website testing, communications, marketing, vendor management;</span></li><li><span>Relationship management with key partners and vendors;  </span></li><li><span>Provide updates on key metrics including: revenue, registrations, YOY comparisons, cost of funds raised; </span></li><li><span>Assess current workflows (i.e. reporting, communications) and propose and implement program enhancements, as needed; </span></li><li><span>Collaborate with members of IS, Fiscal and Regulatory Management, Communications and other internal partners to streamline workflows; </span></li><li><span>Provide oversight and direction to team of 7 staff, focused on event operations, marketing, budgeting, revenue forecasts; </span></li><li><span>Provide supervision, training, professional development and growth opportunities for staff;</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with colleagues across the Division to identify best practices and areas for innovation and growth; </span></li><li><span>Assume other duties as necessary. </span></li></ul><br><div><p><span><span>High school diploma or equivalency required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 8+ years’ relevant work experience required preferably in a Philanthropy setting; previous direct report and personnel management experience is </span><span>; Operations/logistics, project management, data analysis experience is preferred. </span></span></p><p><span><strong><span> </span></strong></span></p><p><span><strong><span>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: </span></strong></span></p><p><span>Organized and detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills; possess the ability to work well with DFCI Departments and external vendors and partners; problem solving skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
