Provide leadership and guidance in Robern strategic planning, specifically owning go to market strategy. Oversee all business sales channels including, architects, designers, remodelers, custom builders, showrooms, projects/commercial specification, developers, and procurement agencies across North America, Able to articulate the voice of the customer, while maintaining Robern product margin and accurate sales forecasting. Specific Responsibilities: Develop, communicate, and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, sales metrics, and improvement goals that drive sales excellence. Responsible for complete and continuous communication around sales and sales opportunities with the organization. Responsible for meeting annual sales and income objectives. Establish annual sales plans and targets on-time. Create, implement, and assess the effectiveness of sales initiatives and promotions. Actively collaborate with Marketing on training material development as well as with the continuous improvement of merchandising solutions. Responsible for accurate, timely, and consistent Sales reporting with data-based recommendations for action. Establish and build strong relationships with external partners (showroom principles, hoteliers, specifiers, designers, distributors, and purchasing influencers) in target markets, and internal partners (Global Projects and Specifications and K&B Americas Sales) to drive preference for luxury project specifications. Lead, manage, and develop Robern sales team including Robern associates & manufacturer reps. Coordinate participation in industry and trade show associations. Communicate and coordinate activities and initiatives with the Kohler company partners. Utilize and improve upon salesforce.com usage within the sales team. Support success through the project sales process from initial sales call, appropriate margin, specification, and through project award. * Ensure timely follow up on all sales leads while providing customer service commensurate with luxury industry expectations. Identifies and executes on strategic opportunities to develop growth within all Robern sales channels including Architects, designers, remodelers, custom builders, showrooms, project/specification, developers, and procurement agencies. Develops showroom and trade recruitment policies and strategy in conjunction with marketing. Monitors customer performance and recommends action for high performance. Deliver commercial specification project pipeline, ensuring consistent pipeline volume commensurate with financial goals and while driving projects to completion. Skills/Requirements Undergraduate degree in Sales, Marketing or Business is required with a Master's in business preferred. Must have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of field sales experience in a luxury consumer product category. Candidate must have a solid track record of leveraging working collaboratively with marketing, customer service and operations. Must have 5 - 10 years progressive experience proactively teaching/coaching less experienced sales associates specific techniques and tools to drive new business development and improve sales effectiveness. Must show a history of successfully meeting sales commitments. Travel up to 75%. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
