Position Title: Director, Strategy & Analytics (Remote - West Coast)

​Salary: $140000-$145000 + BONUS

Job Summary:

As the Director of Strategy and Analytics, you will lead a dynamic team of managers and analysts to uncover insights that drive meaningful improvements in food & beverage operations. Using data, analytical methods, and strategic thinking, your team will help answer critical questions—from understanding guest preferences to optimizing menu offerings. You’ll play a pivotal role in improving the guest experience, boosting financial performance, and enhancing operational efficiency.

You won’t be alone – you will work with over 120 data & analytics colleagues to deploy our proprietary products, identify new opportunities, and oversee ad hoc projects. This role is for you if you’re a proactive leader with a strong combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills energized by maximizing your team's impact on organizational success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to a team of 4-6 managers and analysts including fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture and identifying and addressing skill gaps
  • Review and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of analyses, reports, and deliverables
  • Align team goals and projects with the organization’s strategic objectives
  • Anticipate trends, identify opportunities for innovation, and drive initiatives that add value to the organization
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders and understand their needs, priorities, and challenges
  • Present complex data and insights to non-technical audiences in a clear and compelling manner
  • Communicate frequently and clearly to leadership on the team’s progress, key accomplishments, and areas for improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in business analytics, economics, finance, statistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 9+ years of experience in an analytical or consulting role, with 3+ years of managerial experience
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights
  • Great work ethic with a strong sense of urgency to support teammates and stakeholders
  • Able to pivot as needs and priorities change
  • Advanced data visualization (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) skills
  • Foodservice experience preferred, but not required
