DATTCO has a full-time opening for a Dispatcher in our Coach & Tour Division.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with supervisors to ensure on-time departure of all vehicles
  • Check-in drivers as they report to work including reviewing uniforms and providing work tickets
  • Providing information regarding Coach & Tour Division operations to customers and other staff
  • Utilizing GPS and dispatching software to monitor operations of routes for accuracy
  • Working with drivers and other staff to address service issues/failures in a timely manner
  • Review driver itineraries for accuracy and address driver questions/concerns promptly

Minimum Requirements:

  • Open availability to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays, as required.
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Bus operations experience preferred
  • Well-developed planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented and customer focused
  • Proactive mentality towards problem solving
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to work with computer systems and follow specific business rules for data entry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (primarily Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to use internet or other tools to research trip and destination information
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements at a moment’s notice
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
