Hospital Inpatient and Outpatient Coders

Requirements:

  • RHIA or RHIT
  • Coding experienced preferred
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Responsible for ensuring precise coding of diagnoses and procedures in compliance with established coding guidelines and regulations. This role is integral to maintaining financial accuracy and regulatory compliance within our institution.

Hospital Quality Coding Specialists

Requirements:

  • RHIA or RHIT
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Under general supervision, this position is responsible for conducting audits of coding records, educating the inpatient and outpatient coding staff on current trends and developments in the field of coding. Developing and implementing ongoing training for all of the coding staff.  Maintaining regular contact with a variety of Hospital personnel in order to facilitate exchange of patient-related information.

Professional Coder

Requirements:

  • CPC, CCS-P, RHIA or RHIT
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and assigning accurate diagnosis, procedure, and service codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT®, and HCPCS in accordance with regulatory and payer-specific guidelines. This role supports compliant claim submission, optimal reimbursement, and the overall effectiveness of the revenue cycle.

Professional Coding Educator

Requirements:

  • CPC, CCS-P, RHIA or RHIT
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Must be able to provide in person education as needed.
  • Responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance the coding accuracy, documentation quality, and regulatory compliance of medical coders and clinical staff. This role ensures that coding personnel remain current with evolving coding guidelines, payer rules, and industry best practices, contributing directly to revenue cycle integrity and organizational compliance.

Professional Coding Auditor

Requirements:

  • CPC, CCS-P, RHIA or RHIT
  • Epic experience preferred
  • The Medical Coding Auditor is responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews of coded medical records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimal reimbursement. This role analyzes coding quality, identifies areas of risk, provides feedback to coding staff and providers, and supports overall revenue cycle integrity.

  • May need to drive to corporate office in Warrenville IL for training, department meetings and education.
