About the position

The Energy Captain is responsible for leading and managing the sales of Red Bull products in designated territories. This role involves acting as the primary liaison between the company and Red Bull North America, monitoring sales performance, coaching sales teams, and driving promotional activities to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between assigned Company and Red Bull North America.
  • Monitor and update brand sales to achieve goals set by Gulf Distributing Holdings and Red Bull North America.
  • Conduct Daily/Weekly/Monthly Sales meetings to discuss all Red Bull related items.
  • Coach and develop the Red Bull and Total Beverage teams to grow on PIITCHER, PSA, and other initiatives.
  • Work with the Management team of Gulf Distributing Holdings to stay abreast of changing company directives.
  • Report to Management all changes in or additional directives set forth by Red Bull North America.
  • Provide all requested information regarding sales, inventory levels, and promotional activity/results.
  • Drive promotions in the Off Premise accounts.
  • Ensure product is ordered correctly to fill demand and ensure quality by all teams.
  • Assist in designing monthly sales goals for the Sales teams focusing on promotions, distribution, and volume.
  • Ensure all paper and permanent Point of Sale is utilized in the proper manner and quantity.
  • Keep marketing plan and all tracking charts updated daily.
  • Actively participate in all incentive programs.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with the owners, managers, and employees of assigned accounts.
  • Be aware of all competitive activity and opportunities to increase sales in your assigned accounts.
  • Advise and train the retailers and their employees in the proper methods of selling, merchandising, and pricing of the products GDH supplies.
  • Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of GDH.
  • Obey all Gulf Distributing Holdings Company policies, while acting in a professional manner in all accounts.
  • Dress and maintain personal appearance in a professional manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Always practice safe work habits.
  • Report all accidents and injuries to immediate supervisors immediately.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 1 year industry-related experience preferred.
  • 1 year sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare presentation materials and present information one-on-one and in a group.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
  • Valid Driver's License in assigned state.
  • Ability to work extra hours when needed.
  • Ability to work night hours for On Premise.
  • Outgoing personality and social skills.
