Job Summary
The Events & Exposition Sleep Expert is a sales role that will require mattress and/or chair sales at events such as events and
expos, state fairs, and trade shows. The Events & Exposition Sleep Expert provides excellent customer service to assist
customers in purchasing the right product at the right price. In addition, this role also ensures that events and expositions
have a seamless execution.
Essential Responsibilities
• Adheres to conference planning schedule, policies, and guidelines
• Assist with the event set-up and tear-down
• Attend related conference calls with management
• Minimizes shrink through inventory management practices
• Embraces and encourages turnovers to and from other partners working the event
• Offers motivational support to other partners attending the sales event
• Participates in training classes to stay abreast on product and company programs
• Maintains confidentiality of information
• Represents the company in a professional manner
• Completes other projects and special assignments as requested by supervisor and/or Senior Management
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Demonstrates individual sales excellence on all product categories
• Represents at least thirty (30) percent of total volume of event sales
• Meets minimal margin and ticket goal established by management
• Incorporates corporate directed selling strategy for designated products/services into selling behavior
• Maximizes sales opportunities based on key performance indicators
• Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all
• Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts
• Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand
representation
• Communicates any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations
Non Essential Responsibilities
• Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
