Key Responsibilities Lead the development of data tools used to transform, manage, and access data, ensuring they are robust and scalable. Provide expertise on methods to transform raw data into formats compatible with downstream data sources. Direct the implementation of performance monitoring protocols across data pipelines, training the team on building visualizations and aggregations to monitor pipeline health. Help identify data management needs, oversee the design of data demonstrations, and develop strategies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Prepare colleagues for meetings with stakeholders across teams and address concerns around data requirements by providing guidance on feature assessment. Assist in evaluating data costs, access, usage, use cases, conditions across products, and availability for business or client scenarios connected to at least one product. Collaborate with data scientists, applied researchers, and quality specialists to integrate data-driven approaches into the game development pipeline. Mentor the team on strategies to improve data quality and apply deep knowledge to ensure the right data is ingested across the pipeline. Essential Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Programming, Computer Engineering, or a related field AND 4+ years of experience in business analysis, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering. Alternatively, a graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Programming, Computer Engineering, or a related field AND 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering. Or equivalent experience. Technical Skills 3+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and robust cloud-based big data solutions. 1+ year of experience in data management, data stewardship, or a comparable role. Strong understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, and data governance. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Preferred Qualifications Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Experience working in a game development or entertainment industry.
