Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry) to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely release of accurate information to our diverse clients, including product manufacturers, physicians, patients, and internal customers. Key Responsibilities Maintain effective systems to support the timely release of accurate information to diverse clients, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional customer service. Process prescription intake for all programs specific to non-dispensing pharmacy prescriptions across multiple prescription brands, demonstrating a thorough understanding of pharmacy regulations and guidelines. Log information into the appropriate pharmacy database and triage all prescriptions to the appropriate dispensing pharmacy, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Provide pharmacist support related to prescription processing as needed, collaborating with our team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure exceptional patient care. Assist with inbound call volume as received, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Work closely with pharmacists and other pharmacy technicians to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Run eligibility checks and test claims as needed for patient prescriptions, ensuring that patients receive the medications they need in a timely and arenaflex-effective manner. Distribute prescriptions to appropriate Reimbursement Specialists and stakeholders, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain and promote a positive and professional working relationship with associates and management, contributing to a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Previous 3+ years of professional work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, regulations, and guidelines. A Pharmacy Technician license (National license preferred), with the ability to obtain licensure in the state of Texas if not currently licensed. Strong computer application skills, with experience in pharmacy software and databases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
