What you'll do

An excellent opportunity to join Viasat’s Facilities Management team becoming an integral part of supporting the needs of a global satellite company. You will be part of the customer focused FM team, providing a first class service in this diverse and exciting role. You will play an important part with the day to day running of the building support 800 members of staff


The day-to-day

  • Conduct daily building checks, proactively maintain the building (including inspections)
  • Maintain CAFM systems, monitor workflows, assign tasks, analyse data
  • Provide support to the wider teams for special projects and events
  • Complete site training and keep up to date with the latest operational procedures
  • Work collaboratively to drive a safe and compliant culture
  • ersonal Protective Equipment maintenance/ordering
  • Attend toolbox talks and participate in required scheduled training in a pro-active manner
  • Work with site permitting and compliance strategies
  • Ensure repairs are implemented with minimal impact to end users
  • Gym inspections and management (environment, inductions)
  • Engage with  external vendors as required and accompany/assist them while on site
  • Health & safety check where necessary. Report issues
  • Light maintenance duties and inventory stocking for office supplies
  • Conduct site inductions for contractors
  • Maintain compliance records (training, COSHH, safety records)
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll need

  • Customer service background  
  • Computer literate (Office 365, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, CAFM
  • Facilities/hotel background, minimum 3 years’ experience 

What will help you on the job

  • Experience with a CAFM system (not essential)
