Zuma Canyon Orchids is a regenerative farm, educational center, apothecary and center for the arts. It’s an experiment in learning and sharing, a celebration of give and take with the land. ZCO draws from the past to shape our future and runs at its own distinctive cadence; you'll feel it when you come here. ● Previous farming experience ● Understanding of Regenerative Ag, Permaculture, Holistic Management, Organic Ag, Syntropic Ag, Biodynamic Ag, Keyline Design, etc ● Understanding of Market vegetable gardening, raised bed vegetable gardening, Fruit/Nut orchard management ● Understanding and familiarity of livestock- poultry, goats, sheeps, cattle, pigs, etc ● Comfortable with slaughter/butchering of meat animals ● Ability to operate Tractor/Forklift/ATV/Farm Vehicles ● Ability to operate string trimmers, blowers, mowers, woodchippers, chainsaws, etc ● Ability to use pruning shears, shovels, trowels, rakes, hoes, wheelbarrows and other basic hand tools ● Ability to perform the essential functions of the job otherwise outlined ● ORGANIZED ● PUNCTUAL ● CLEAR COMMUNICATOR ● STRONG WORK ETHIC ● POSITIVE ATTITUDE ● TEAM PLAYER Company benefits and PTO included Apply with resume, cover letter and references.
