Job Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing accounting and financial reporting for the UK entity, acting as the primary Oracle accounting reviewer to ensure all monthly accounting entries comply with UK GAAP/IFRS and that the final financial statements are accurate and reliable. The position coordinates the month-end close process, including journal review, accruals, adjustments, and issue resolution, and reviews monthly management accounts with variance analysis.

The role also supports budgeting and forecasting, provides financial analysis and decision support to management, and contributes to internal control, risk management, and governance processes. In addition, it reviews externally submitted financial information for audits, tax, and board reporting, monitors cash flow and banking relationships, and liaises with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background, experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle), familiarity with UK GAAP/IFRS, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multinational environment.

Responsibilities

1. Act as the Oracle accounting reviewer for the UK entity, responsible for the monthly review of accounting entries, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP / IFRS and taking ownership of the accuracy and integrity of the final financial statements;

2. Coordinate month-end closing, including review of journals, accruals, adjustments and issue resolution;

3. Review monthly management accounts and financial statements, and provide variance analysis;

4. Prepare annual budgets and forecasts, and support financial performance management;

5. Provide financial analysis and decision support for business operations and management;

6. Support internal control, risk management and governance processes;

7. Review all externally submitted financial information, including audit, tax and board-related finance materials;

8. Monitor cash position and support cash management and banking relationships;

Liaise with banks, auditors, tax advisors and relevant local authorities.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related field;

2. Minimum 2 years of relevant finance or accounting experience;

3. Familiarity with UK GAAP and/or IFRS;

4. ERP accounting operation experience, with Oracle ERP preferred;

5. Experience in multinational or overseas Chinese enterprises preferred;

6. Strong communication skills and business awareness;

7. English required; Chinese preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
