About the position

You’ll support the US Disbursement Management and Control (US DMC) team in maintaining procedures and controls to ensure the integrity of our disbursements. As a member of the US DMC team, you will participate in the delivery of reliable Accounts Payable (AP) services to support business needs. The AP team is made up of a combination of in-house team members and shared services processors responsible for oversight, payments, nonstandard invoice processing, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Review and accurately process U.S. Office invoices, including Global Services and Alternate Businesses, ensuring appropriate approvals and coding in compliance with BCG cost coding guidelines.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Assist in Vendor File maintenance including creation and update of vendor and employee records.
  • Complete monthly deliverables with Sales Tax reporting for the Tax Department.
  • Manage the monthly Rent reconciliation alongside our US DMC Finance Senior Analyst
  • Effectively communicate and interact in a professional manner with other local offices and departments within the company. Respond in a timely manner to inquiries from local offices, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Handle any priority and time-sensitive requests and coordinate with the requestor and the US DMC team if any rush payments are needed.
  • Assist in training Co-Ops and any new US DMC team members.
  • Assist as needed in the disbursements process to ensure all deadlines are met including month-end close and payments.
  • Prepare and process invoices using Web ADI uploads.
  • Assist in maintaining AP procedures and making sure all documentation is current.
  • Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as needed including back-up for others on the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher with strong accounting skills and 1-3 years experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a drive to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively with other teams and all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Benefits

  • Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.
  • The base salary range for this role is \$66,000-\$82,000.
  • In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a discretionary bonus of up to 12% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
