The Opportunity HUB PR’s financial analyst works closely with our internal clients, producers and co brokers to ensure top of the line service. A day in the life… Assist Finance Director in the AR direct bill reconciliations and funds applications when collected as well as the follow-up of old balances and AR aging management. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner . Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including preparation of financial statements. Support the preparation of internal and external financial reports. Monitor and ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed. Coordinate and provide documentation for internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll) to streamline financial processes. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of one year of experience in accounting or financial analysis
  • Preferred experience with EPIC and Oracle accounting systems
  • Excel Savvy with strong knowledge of data and financial formulas
  • Intellectual curiosity that enables solutions to our customers, innovation and enhancing current team’s processes
