About the position

This role will support the Women's Denim team on all aspects of the product lifecycle from concept to final development with direction from the category's leader.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the Women's Denim Bottoms design team from concept to design to final development
  • Master knowledge of all styles, raw materials and trims related to Denim Bottoms
  • Assist with the management of cross-functional communication between merchants, production, technical design and external vendors
  • Manage all shipping, tracking, receiving, organizing and photographing samples
  • Create and update all tech packs in PLM and update them as needed
  • Work with lead designer to facilitate comments and updates to PLM tech packs
  • Create, prepare, and update visual line sheets as needed
  • Assist with the preparation of presentation boards for seasonal/ milestone meetings
  • Conduct design research as directed by department head
  • Attend fit sessions as needed and facilitate comments into PLM and vendors
  • Review lab dips, samples and submits with category leader and enter/send comments to vendors
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or Art (or equivalent experience and education)
  • Web PLM experience is required
  • Proficient in Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Excel
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment - mainly working in office several days a week with occasional remote work from home
  • Keen eye for color, trend, detail and construction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to multi task and prioritize based on business objectives
  • Organized and detail oriented

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous AE or Aerie experience is a plus!
