Freelance Content Writer (On-site, KL HQ | 2–3 Months Contract)

Position Title: Freelance / Contract Content Writer (B2B / Corporate Services and Oil & Gas)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Fully office-based)

Job Summary

Terra Asia Group is seeking a Freelance Content Writer to support our B2B corporate content needs across our group of companies, including our corporate services/advisory solutions and our oil & gas / energy-related business segment in Malaysia.

This role is fully office-based at our Kuala Lumpur HQ and requires a writer who can produce business-standard, accurate, and well-structured content for website pages, company profiles, corporate leaflets/brochures, and selected LinkedIn content. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to translate services, solutions, and industry topics into clear, professional messaging aligned with Terra Asia's brand tone.

Key Responsibilities

· Write, rewrite, and edit corporate website content, including:

o Service pages, landing pages, company overview, and FAQs

· Develop and refine company profiles and corporate write-ups for client-facing use

· Create copy for corporate leaflets, brochures, and marketing collateral (print and digital)

· Support LinkedIn content for business audiences (captions, announcements, carousel text when required)

· Draft advisory-style articles / blog content when needed (e.g., guides, industry updates, corporate insights)

· Conduct desk research using reliable and official sources to ensure accuracy (especially for policy/regulatory or industry-related topics)

· Rewrite internal drafts into polished business-standard content with strong grammar, structure, and tone

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders for fact-checking, approvals, and final publishing

· Maintain proper documentation and version control (drafts, revisions, final masters)

Requirements (Must-Have)

· Proven experience as a Content Writer / Copywriter / Marketing Writer (B2B and corporate writing preferred)

· Strong English writing skills with excellent grammar, clarity, and professional business tone

· Ability to simplify complex services and industry information into clear, credible content

· Strong research discipline and attention to detail (accuracy is critical)

· Comfortable writing both short-form (corporate captions) and long-form (website and profile copy, articles)

· Self-driven, organised, and able to manage multiple deliverables with deadlines

Added Advantage

· Experience writing for corporate services, consulting, HR, immigration & Mobility, Business compliance, oil & gas sectors/industries

· Familiarity with SEO writing structure and content formatting best practices

· Strong stakeholder communication skills (briefing, clarifying, and extracting information)

Work Arrangement

· Work Mode: Fully office-based or hybrid but must be able to attend in-person meetings at HQ Kuala Lumpur

· Working Hours / Schedule: To be agreed based on contract scope (e.g., full-time weekdays or agreed days per week)
