Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Paid Media Specialist with deep, hands-on experience running campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and Google Ads. You will own performance for key client accounts and Act Second Ventures brands—leading strategy, execution, and optimization of high-performing paid campaigns.

This role blends growth strategy, media buying, experimentation, and insight generation. You’ll be responsible for channel planning, full-funnel architecture, budget ownership, campaign setup, optimization, and reporting. As a senior member of the team, you’ll also help refine best practices, mentor junior specialists, and act as a strategic partner to clients and internal stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning
  • Lead the development of multi-platform media strategies tailored to client and venture objectives (acquisition, retention, awareness, LTV).
  • Define testing roadmaps, audience frameworks, and creative strategies across Meta, TikTok, and Google.
  • Recommend media mix, budget allocation, and scaling plans based on performance data and business goals.
Campaign Execution
  • Build, launch, and manage paid campaigns across:
  • Meta Ads Manager (Facebook & Instagram)
  • TikTok Ads Manager
  • Google Ads (Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display)
Design campaign and account structures that support testing, measurement, and scalability.Ensure proper tracking, attribution, and event configuration in collaboration with analytics/technical teams. Manage and optimize catalog feeds from Shopify.Optimization & Scaling
  • Monitor performance daily and proactively optimize bids, budgets, audiences, creatives, and placements to hit ROAS, CAC, or CPA targets.
  • Run structured A/B and multivariate tests to validate hypotheses and continuously improve performance.
  • Identify and execute scaling opportunities while maintaining efficiency and protecting margins.
Creative & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Brief design, content, and UGC teams on creative concepts, angles, and formats tailored to each platform and funnel stage.
  • Collaborate closely with copywriters and strategists to align messaging, targeting, and offers.
  • Provide clear, data-backed creative feedback to iterate towards top-performing assets.
Reporting, Insights & Client Leadership
  • Build weekly and monthly performance reports with clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Present results to internal stakeholders and clients, translating performance data into business impact and next steps.
  • Contribute to playbooks, frameworks, and internal documentation to elevate Act Second’s paid media practice.
  • Support/mentor junior paid media specialists and help review their work where needed.

Requirements

Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years of experience managing paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads.
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific strategies, ad formats, algorithms, and audience behavior.
  • Proven track record with e-commerce or DTC brands, including full-funnel performance campaigns and synergies with other marketing tactics like SEO, organic social, affiliates, etc
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Funnel, Triple Whale, or similar.
  • Comfortable owning five/six-figure+ monthly budgets across channels.
  • Ability to brief and collaborate effectively with designers, video editors, copywriters, and growth teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable speaking directly with clients and founders.
  • Proficiency in English (mandatory).
  • Comfortable working remotely on ET or similar time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a performance marketing agency or high-growth startup environment.
  • Familiarity with landing page CRO, post-click optimization, and Shopify-based funnels.
  • Experience testing influencer whitelisting and UGC-based campaigns on Meta or TikTok.
  • Google Ads certifications or TikTok Blueprint certifications are a plus.
