Role Objective

To provide structured training and hands-on exposure in production, materials, quality, and maintenance operations, enabling fresh engineering graduates to develop into skilled engineers supporting manufacturing excellence.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction / Manufacturing

  • Assist in shop floor production activities and machine operations
  • Monitor daily production targets, downtime, and productivity
  • Learn CNC / VMC / HMC / conventional machines and processes
  • Support process improvement and cycle time reduction

Materials Management

  • Assist in material planning, inventory control, and stock reconciliation
  • Learn FIFO, LIFO, and 3C material storage practices
  • Coordinate with stores and purchase for material availability
  • Maintain material records and ERP documentation

Quality

  • Assist in incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities
  • Learn quality tools such as 7 QC tools, SPC, PPAP, and FMEA
  • Support non-conformance reporting, CAPA, and audits
  • Maintain quality and inspection documentation

Maintenance

  • Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines
  • Support maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC, compressors, utilities, and tooling
  • Participate in preventive maintenance schedules and checklists
  • Assist in root cause analysis for equipment breakdowns
  • Support spare parts planning, maintenance records, and safety compliance

Process Improvement & Safety

  • Support 5S, TPM, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Follow safety procedures and support EHS compliance
  • Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction projects

Skills & Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and maintenance concepts
  • Knowledge of machine tools, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems (added advantage)
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP exposure preferred)

Career Growth
