Why Join Us | DuPont Careers Job Summary DuPont is looking for a Global Finance Senior Specialist to provide financial support to both Commercial and Operations & Supply Chain Teams. This role combines strategic, tactical, and execution skill sets, with a global exposure to the Business Management Teams, while supporting the Business Finance Leader. Please note this role is onsite 4 days a week with one day of remote work. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Wilmington, DE

Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership to meet business objectives and ensure timely, accurate and insightful analysis of business performance and forecast.
  • Leading all financial aspects within the monthly IBP, taking ownership of the Global Integrated Reconciliation Step, and providing input into Monthly Business Reviews.
  • Providing a monthly outlook and variance analysis across several key areas, including Commercial input and Operations & Supply Chain cost structure.
  • Preparing monthly results communication, timely and accurately, while relentlessly driving standardization and simplification in the process.
  • Managing all in scope financial budgeting for the annual Strategy Review and Execution Review.
  • Partnering with Business Global Operating Teams, providing financial support and reporting, driving clear understanding and accountability on costs, and establishing robust processes and alignment.
  • Overseeing Plant Fixed Cost (PFC) and Variable Cost outlooks and providing a holistic view of trends across the network, along with variance analysis and corrective actions needed to deliver against targets.
  • Working with key stakeholders to meet PO targets and focusing on achieving strong NWC metrics, specifically within Inventory, and strategies for liquidity management in dynamic environments.
  • Ad hoc financial modeling and investment proposals working closely with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders; providing decision support and financial guidance as needed to maximize business value.
  • Ensures integrity of financial results across all financial statements.
  • Ensuring adherence to financial policies within the sites and business, based on corporate guidelines and business strategies, including SOX compliance for business finance processes.
  • Must operate well in a cross-cultural environment and lead the organization to operate to maximize long-term business profitability and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a Technical Field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Finance, previous experience in business analysis, financial/decision modeling, manufacturing, and supply chain preferred, including strong understanding of product costing.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and strong analytical competency.
  • Understanding of DuPont financial, accounting and internal control policies and standards.
  • Strong skill set in MS Office, SAP, Business Warehouse, and Tableau
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to effectively influence and drive business results by gaining alignment and inspiring trust.
  • Ability to influence business leadership and effectively manage projects working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple and conflicting priorities, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality of work.
  • Strong communication and global collaboration skills; ability to effectively influence and drive results regardless of geographic and time-zone barriers.
  • Effective, simple communication of complex financial situations.
  • Ability to articulate financial issues and impacts in the business context.
