As NRO Growth Trainer, you will be an integral part of the company's rapid growth, responsible for supporting the new restaurant opening process on the ground. In this role, you will be responsible for leading training activities ensuring restaurant operational readiness and proper brand execution occurs. This includes support during Restaurant setup, overseeing and training day to day operations, coaching and supporting management. You will work closely with your Growth Leader and Manager of Growth to ensure efficient and effective execution of all pre-opening activities and timelines.

Core Work Activities 

  • Travels to restaurant openings to support restaurant management in preparation for their opening. Oversees NRO training staff and partners with restaurant management to identify operational nuances and unique space needs
  • Promotes the efficient use of all available Qdoba systems, processes, equipment, and tools; may oversee equipment testing and ensure same are fully operational prior to restaurant openings
  • Monitors New Restaurant training program effectiveness. Listens actively to feedback from field and Support Center business partners; leads problem resolution process
  • Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed by Growth Leader or Manager of Growth
  • Position requires a Time off restriction from P8-P13 along with additional times throughout the year based on needs of the business.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred
  • 3-5 years Restaurant/hospitality or retail industry experience preferred including experience with both company and franchise operated concepts
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving
  • Proficient knowledge of personal computers and their applications (databases, spreadsheet, word processing)
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and licensing regulations pertaining to the restaurant industry is a plus
  • Ability to travel 80% of time with flexible working hours
  • Resourceful, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and ability to react professionally to changes in schedules and/or project direction
  • Strong understanding of P&L statement, inventory management software & scheduling tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners to meet deliverables
  • Ability to lift equipment and cases of product weighing approximately 10-50 lbs.
  • Pass Qdoba background check and any additional specific background checks required for international travel or access to military bases

Physical Conditions:

  • Ability to travel to restaurants approximately 30%-60% of the time or as business needs require.
  • Ability to speak and hear clearly on the telephone.
  • Ability to type on a computer keyboard.

Pay Range: $58,300-$68,500 and $900 per Supported New Restaurant Opening. 


PLEASE NOTE: This is a remote position and the pay range provided aligns with national market data and final compensation determined will follow all state/jurisdictional salary minimums.
