ABOUT CAMBRIDGE AUDIO:

Cambridge Audio is an independent global audio brand with over 50 years of heritage. We design award-winning headphones, lifestyle audio and premium hi-fi products, and operate from our London Bridge HQ.

We’re passionate about music, detail, and building exceptional products.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a reliable, practical, hands-on person to support our Product team with ad-hoc, in-office tasks in London.

This is a fully flexible role. Some weeks there may be no hours at all; other weeks may require up to 20 hours depending on product activity and shipping deadlines.

The work is physical and practical rather than desk-based. You must be able to attend the office at short notice when required.

This role is ideal for someone local, dependable and happy to jump in to keep things moving.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

•Receiving and unpacking product deliveries

• Logging and tracking incoming and outgoing items

• Powering on and performing basic checks on products

• Preparing and packaging products for shipment

• Coordinating couriers and meeting same-day shipping cut-offs

• Setting up products for internal demos or listening sessions

• Keeping storage and sample areas organised

• Responding quickly to urgent on-site requests

• Supporting the Product team with practical tasks that free up engineers’ time

WHAT THIS ROLE IS (AND ISN’T):

• Not a fixed-hours role — flexibility is essential

• Not a desk-based admin role

• Practical, common-sense, hands-on support

• Requires physical presence in the office

• Reliability and availability matter more than formal qualifications

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• London-based and able to travel to the office easily

• Able to respond quickly when urgent on-site support is required

• Comfortable with flexible, unpredictable hours

• Practical, organised and calm under pressure

• Trustworthy when handling equipment

• Self-sufficient and proactive
