External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.<br><br><strong>Location: </strong><br><br>The Head of Business Development-Equipment & Metrology is a <strong>remote</strong> position, located in the US, with preference given to candidates in the Boston, MA area. There will be up to 35% domestic and international travel required to meet business needs.<br><br><strong>Your Role:</strong><br><br>As a key member of the EMD Digital business development team in the Athinia™ organization, you will thrive in an entrepreneurial start-up environment, bringing our product strategy and vision to fruition. The ideal candidate is a recognized technology leader with a passion for value generation, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.<br><br>You will develop a profound understanding of the customer value generation roadmap through digital transformation, focusing on advanced data analytics and a collaborative ecosystem for data sharing. As the subject matter expert in semiconductor equipment and materials, you will lead commercial initiatives for customer implementation projects, delivering end-to-end value generation by uncovering insights through advanced analytics and fostering close collaboration among semiconductor ecosystem players.<br><br><strong>Who You Are</strong><br><br><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong><br><ul><li>B.S. /M.S. /Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar field with a strong foundation in software and data analytics</li><li>8 years of direct, hands-on technical experience in the semiconductor industry, emphasizing equipment and metrology applications in device manufacturing processes</li><li>5 years of experience with data analytics and data engineering tools, including Python, R, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Databricks, or Snowflake</li><li>Familiarity with AWS or other cloud computing environments is highly necessary</li><li>Strong ability to engage with key Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and device manufacturers at senior levels, as well as developing, building, and aligning briefings, pricing strategies, and deployment plans with leaders across various business sectors</li><li>Proven experience in customer- or partner-facing roles, with a demonstrated ability to capture and communicate customer needs effectively</li><li>Strong project management skills and familiarity with project management fundamentals</li></ul><br><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong><br><ul><li>Advanced degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar field with a strong foundation in software and data analytics</li><li>A passion for winning, coupled with a deep curiosity for continuous learning and problem-solving</li><li>Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, particularly in multicultural environments</li><li>Willingness and ability to work hands-on with urgency in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting</li><li>Strategic agility with strong critical and logical thinking skills to analyze complex problems</li><li>Ability to respectfully and effectively communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams</li></ul><br><br>Pay range for this position: $197,500 - $296,300 <br><br>The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
