Our Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) powers highly automated Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs), enabling efficient, single-pick online grocery delivery<br><br><strong>About the Role</strong><br><br>The Technology Operations Supply Chain department is responsible for the Planning, Sourcing and Delivery of the Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and services for the Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) implementation globally.<br><br>As Head of Supply Chain Operations you will manage the operation of the end to end supply chain, ensuring the team delivers on agreed service levels and cost targets. This includes Planning and Logistics, and the management of key relationships with 3rd Party Warehousing and Logistics Providers, carriers and suppliers. You will build a high performing team that develops effective relationships.to deliver optimal value; ensuring on time, in full delivery to Ocado Smart Platform Projects and Global operations.<br><br>Working collaboratively across the business you will support the development of the Supply Chain Operations strategy, drive system, process and capability improvements and deliver robust internal reporting. <br><br><strong>About you</strong><br><ul><li>Strong background and experience working in a senior supply chain position and proven experience in building high performing teams</li><li>Experience with S&OP, demand and supply planning processes</li><li>Knowledge and experience working with ERP/MRP systems</li><li>Experience working with 3PLs</li><li>Strong commercial awareness and management with the ability to read situations and understand commercial and contractual impact</li><li>Ability to interpret budgets, variances and financial and statistical data, taking a proactive approach to predict results and take necessary action </li><li>Leadership of technical department, setting direction and delivering with excellence</li></ul><br><strong>What we offer you</strong><br><br>We believe in supporting our people with meaningful, flexible benefits that prioritise well-being and work-life balance.
