Job Description
Class 2 & Class 1 Delivery Drivers

Location: Marston Green, B37
Days: Monday to Friday
Start Times: Between 05:00 – 08:00
Vehicle Types: Modern Automatic Vehicles

Pay

  • Class 2: £15.50 per hour
  • Class 1: £18.54 per hour

The Role

We are recruiting Class 2 and Class 1 Drivers for ongoing work based out of Marston Green (B37). This is a Monday to Friday position with consistent start times and no weekend work.

Class 2 Duties:

  • Completing 2 runs per day
  • Delivering 15–18 pallets per shift
  • Store deliveries and scheduled collections
  • Safe unloading using tail lifts, cages, or palletised goods
  • Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service
  • Adhering to drivers’ hours, WTD, and transport legislation

Class 1 Duties:

  • Completing 3 full trailer collections per shift
  • Live load collections (back and forward runs)
  • Ensuring safe and efficient trailer operations
  • Completing vehicle checks and relevant transport paperwork
  • Adhering to drivers’ hours, WTD, and transport legislation

Requirements

  • Valid licence relevant to the role applied for (Class 2 (Category C) or Class 1 (Category C+E))
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience on the relevant licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Store delivery experience required for Class 2 roles
  • Experience with full trailer and live load work required for Class 1
  • Confident using tail lifts and delivery equipment (where applicable)
  • Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
