Role Description

This role involves coordinating provider schedules and ensuring appropriate coverage for all locations.

  • Coordinates provider schedules, including time off and outreach rotations
  • Updates and maintains provider schedules in practice management software
  • Loads new providers into the scheduling system and ensures appropriate access is granted
  • Utilizes reporting tools to update, maintain and process custom reports from provider scheduling software
  • Ensures high standards for customer service and resolves concerns and complaints
  • Troubleshoots and corrects routine day-to-day problems related to the provider scheduling system
  • Collaborates with provider scheduling vendor to process requests for enhancements to the software
  • Communicates appropriate patient and provider information within the department and across the organization
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2 Years Medical procedure scheduling
  • Experience with QGENDA Scheduling Software and previous admin experience with large scale complex Service Lines (preferred)

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively provide clear and effective communication to providers, vendors, patients, staff and other contacts
  • Provides positive, professional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors
  • Able to maintain patient confidentiality while handling all patient personal health information and records
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the field
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, practice management software and provider scheduling system
  • Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
  • A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
