Role Description

The Medication History Pharmacy Technician at PipelineRx (now a part of Evernorth Health Services) supports Remote Pharmacy Services by collecting and documenting accurate patient medication histories, assisting pharmacists, and performing related clinical and administrative tasks.

Shift: You will be required to work anywhere from 8a – 11p, Sun – Sat.

Main Duties

  • Gather and verify complete medication lists and patient allergies.
  • Document all medication details in electronic records.
  • Interview patients/caregivers and consult pharmacists to resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with quality assurance data, clinical services, order handling, and support pharmacists with data entry and insurance claims.

Qualifications

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
  • 2+ years Pharmacy Technician experience; 1+ year with Medication Reconciliation/History in hospitals.
  • Preferred: Prescription data entry and project coordination experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Experience with Epic, Cerner and/or MediTech.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and technology skills; emergency availability.

Requirements

  • You will be required to have reliable internet connectivity provided through a wired ethernet connection. A mobile or hot spot environment is not acceptable.
  • You may need to purchase an Ethernet cord depending on your current setup.
  • If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
  • For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17.75 - 25 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
  • This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
