Role Description

This role involves supporting attorneys by managing a civil litigation caseload from pre-filing through litigation milestones.

  • Manage civil litigation and personal injury case loads independently, including approximately 20 litigation and/or pre-litigation matters
  • Prepare, format, and file key court documents, including complaints, motions, and case management statements
  • Maintain and update case calendars with deadlines, hearings, and filings
  • Draft and coordinate discovery requests, responses, and related correspondence
  • Work with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to gather necessary case information and respond appropriately
  • Organize, format, and proofread legal documents using MS Word to ensure compliance with court rules and internal quality standards
  • Prepare exhibits, binders, and document sets for hearings, depositions, and trial preparation
  • Use Clio Manage for case tracking, document storage, and client communications
  • Collaborate with attorneys to support trial preparation as needed
  • Communicate with clients to gather facts, update on case progress, and ensure timely input on litigation strategy

This is a hybrid role, you will be a Civil Litigation Paralegal also providing support as a Case Manager in Personal Injury cases.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, case manager or senior paralegal in civil litigation and/or personal injury law
  • Demonstrated experience managing litigation case workflows independently
  • Expertise in calendaring deadlines, drafting litigation documents, and preparing case management statements
  • Strong MS Word skills — capable of formatting legal documents to professional standards
  • Experience with case management tools such as Clio Manage, plus calendaring and e-filing familiarity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Able to handle sensitive client information with professionalism and discretion
  • Highly organized, dependable, and proactive — able to prioritize tasks in a remote work environment
  • This role is open only to candidates based in LATAM & Europe
